Coram Deo Blog Love
2 Pillars Church was featured in a great blog post today by Bob Thune, pastor of Coram Deo in Omaha. Bob has been a mentor, a coach, and a friend to me over the last 18 months and I’m excited to be locking arms with Coram Deo for the sake of the gospel in the Lincoln and Omaha area. The Whiteboard Sessions at The 815
Beginning on Sunday, January 17th, we will begin a progressive series of Vision Meetings we are entitling “The Whiteboard Sessions” in which we will work through the casting of vision for multiple facets of 2 Pillars Church. These are open to anyone interested in hearing about or being involved with 2 Pillars. If you are interested in being part of our launch team as we plant a new, gospel-centered, missionally-focused church in the downtown heart of Lincoln, we’d encourage you to attend all of these sessions if possible and the first one in particular as we will be talking about what 2 Pillars will look like for the next four months and how you can get involved and be part of this community.
All of the Whiteboard Sessions will be held at The 815 (815 O Street) and start at 6pm. We will gather, share a meal (we will provide drinks, please bring a dish to share), have a time of vision casting focused on the scheduled topic, as well as reserve some time for Q&A. We will typically wrap up around 8pm. These will all be fairly casual and kids are more than welcome.
